Passion for APIFM: Angela learned about APIFM through the Board Leadership Program (BLP). APIFM’s mission to serve the community through food access, health and sustainability really resonates with her and she hopes to further support this mission.

Work Affiliation: Risk Consultant at Ernst & Young (EY)

Bio: Born and raised in San Diego, Angela graduated from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a bachlors. She has over 10 years of experience with risk consulting for financial services companies, specializing in enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance. She leads and manages various projects across a variety of institutions, such as large banks, community banks, and financial technology companies. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering in the community. She was previously on the steering committee for a local API nonprofit supporting young leaders through innovative philanthropy.

Fun Fact: Angela recently picked up running after signing up for a half marathon with her friends.
