Jessica is currently a climate advisor with the Natural Resources Defense Council and works intimately with the City of Los Angeles on vehicle electrification and mobility projects. Prior to this, she was Communications Director at Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Los Angeles and in charge of developing advocacy and awareness-raising campaigns for issues relating to social justice and immigration. She also has worked extensively on electric vehicle planning and equity while in San Diego. She graduated from NYU and received a master’s in economics and environmental policy from UC San Diego. Fun fact: In 5th grade, she created my own print newsletter for neighbors and friends called “The Stuff.” She distributed it every other week and it included movie reviews and original poems and short stories.
